Spring Fashion Show at Trump National Golf Club featuring some of my favorite looks highlighting the hottest trends of the season from Saks Fifth Avenue Tysons Galleria. For the first look I chose to focus on the black and white trend with this A-line Milly dress paired with a POC (pop of color) handbag in coral.
Following the floral trend, this Elie Tahari dress works in so many different environments. As a desk-to-dinner dress it works in the office paired with a cream cropped cardigan then ditch the cardigan at 5 p.m. for drinks with friends. Or rock this flowery number to a bridal shower or brunch! #VeryVersatile - we like!
Yes gentlemen, the floral trends is applicable to you all too! Pairing this blue and white Vince button down with a pair of crisp white jeans creates a great look for the summer.
For the next look, I wanted to showcase how you can travel in style by accessoring a simple look. Bermuda shorts are all the rage this season so keep it fresh with a colorful pair like the orange Vince pair below and pair it with a simple long-sleeve thin sweater. The straw hat is an essential to protect your beautiful skin and you can wear it with pretty much any look from poolside to maxi dresses. The scarf adds a colorful and sophisticated element to the travel look and will work to cover your shoulders on a chilly night over any neutral colored maxi dress!
Yes ladies, less is more this season when it comes to swimwear!
Gentlemen, attention please: here's an example of how you can mix colors and patterns too!
Finally, one of my favorite things about summer - kaftans! Natori makes gorgeous kaftans that work indoors or outdoors and rocking this blue-green kaftan poolside will add that touch of glam you're looking for.
