If you were inside my home this past Sunday, you would've thought it was Superbowl Sunday as I intensely watched, cheered and jeered at the Red Carpet pre show! Yes, it's one of my favorite times of year to see just what the celebs will be wearing and trends they'll be implementing so I wanted to share who I thought were the best- and of course not-so-hot-dressed ladies.
Jessica Alba in Oscar de la Renta
Jessica Alba radiated in this gorgeous Oscar de la Renta melon mermaid gown w/ diamonds from Harry Winston (approximately $5.8million!) cascading around her neck, coral lips and a ravishing side-swept hair style - true Hollywood Glamour!
Katharine McPhee in Theysken's Theory
From head to toe - hair, make-up, dress, shoes - McPhee's look was a home run! With a daring and on-trend plunging neckline, she looked like a sophisticated sex bombshell and surely turned every head on the red carpet that night.

Michelle Dockery in Alexandre Vauthier
Dockery looked absolutely stunning in this Vauthier gown! The French designer is known for his radical cuts and Anglo-Saxon influences and began in fashion working under Mugler and Gaultier prior to beginning his own line. He's one of my favorite international designers and I was thrilled to see his work on the Red Carpet!

Hayden Panettiere in Roberto Cavalli
Panettiere was glowing in this cotton candy-pink Cavalli gown! The flirty fitted gown was the perfect choice for the young beauty and the color complimented her sun-kissed skin and natural-looking make-up so well. Plus, as an added bonus showed off her amazing figure!

Now on to the misses of the evening....
Anne Hathaway was borderline for me as her look bored me somewhat and lacked something like an accessory with color perhaps...IMO it was too mature and safe of a look for her. Since it's such a glamorous night in Hollywood I would've preferred seeing her a bit more glammed up! However, her hair, make-up and skin looked flawless!

Dear Debra Messing: whoever styled you should be fired! Messing is by no means a big woman yet her dress widened her and made her appear larger, not a flattering style for her figure whatsoever. In addition, Messing wore a GORGEOUS black gown by Monique Lhullier at the Globes last year so she should've strayed far from black this year, especially since her 2012 look was a home run!

Halle Berry rocked a printed Versace dress and while prints are on-trend for the season, I'm not a huge fan of them on the Red Carpet unless done very subtly...I prefer textures over patterns and prints. Also, the cut at the bust line made her boobs look mismatched. Finally, there was nothing special about this dress for the Golden Globes and instead I can see it as a perfect dress for one of the Real Housewives of Miami cast members to wear during one of their dramatic sunset beach soirees/bralws in South Beach. ;-)

Finally, Eva Longoria wearing a custom-made Pucci was a classic case of: the dress wore her. I would've preferred seeing this gown on someone taller, like Gisele Bundchen or Anne Hathaway, and to have seen Longoria in a rich color like jade or coral.
XOXO
