Tis' the season! Time to start plotting out your "something fabulous" to wear this holiday season. Whether you are dressing for a New Year's Eve party or the annual office holiday party, I've got you covered! :o)
New Year's Eve
Make an entrance! New Year's Eve is the perfect event to shine, literally, and with metallics being on-trend this season you have plenty of options to make sure you are the light of the party.

Holiday Gala
If the party calls for black tie then time to rock a floor length gown and to consider something unique. For instance, Rachel Zoe has an amazing winter white tuxedo gown - below - (on sale right now btw, yay!) which I think would look stunning paired with a pair of metallic or bold-colored strappy heels and a long pendant necklace.

Office Party
If you work in an office then you either welcome or dread the annual holiday office party, but regardless of your sentiments towards the occasion you can certainly enjoy planning an outfit to look your best for all to see! :o)
This beautiful Trina Turk dress is a keeper year-round! You can wear it in the office with a cream-colored cardigan and a set of chunky pearls then throw on a pair of shiny black patent heels, a beautiful broach or chandelier earrings, with a black shawl over your shoulders and you're set for the office party or dinner.
Throw on a chunky statement necklace and a fitted white or black blazer with this beautiful Greylin dress and you'll be ready to mingle and jingle with co-workers. Oh an ditch the black heels and throw on a pair of cherry red or graphite gray heels with this number. Then you can slip out of the blazer post-party and you'll be ready to join friends for a cocktail in the city! :o)
Lace is a forever trend so a black lace dress is a must-have for your wardrobe. This open-back lace dress is perfect for the holiday season because it's so versatile - wear it to the family dinner, the office holiday party or a cocktail event. It exudes class with a touch of fun with the flirty skirt and minimal open back. Wear it with black opaque tights and a pair of black booties or heels and dress your lips in red and you'll be good to go!

Cocktail Party
For all things cocktail I typically turn to one of my favorite designers - Tadashi Shoji. As a trained artist, Shoji is passionate about creating a work of art in all of his creations and for that reason I continue to turn to him for so many of my special occasions.

If you want to go for a dress with some curve appeal and stay on-trend with lace, try this gorgeous Tadashi Shoji. It fits like a glove and I just adore the nude/black combo and scalloped lace trim on the hemline.

Don't forget about keeping warm! This BCBG lace trim trench is romantic and feminine with some edge and wears so well over a dress. It makes a statement before the dress, so it's a win-win!
I love partnering a long gown with a cropped faux fur vest or coat. Rachel Zoe once again comes in with a fabulous faux fur jacket that will add a touch of old Hollywood glam to your evening look. I throw mine on over all my dressy looks to keep me warm and stylish. :o)
