Spotted: Stylish Mommy-To-Be

As a mother to a newborn, I have a new-found admiration when I spot stylish mommies-to-be since I know first-hand it's not easy to dress your best when you're completely exhausted and feel like your stomach is never going to stop growing!  It's much simpler to just throw on something comfy and roomy, but when you take the time to put together something flattering to the baby bump bod it pays off - trust me!  Not only will your spirits be lifted, but you'll have everyone saying "wow, that pregnant woman looks great!" 

Which is exactly what I said when I met up with Heather Shaw Menis (friend and the Director of Marketing at Saks Fifth Avenue Tysons Galleria) who was proudly rocking her baby bump and looking fabulous in a coral and nautical stripe ensemble.  The empire-waist dress shows off and flatters her bump and the blazer pulls everything together.  Expectant mommy or not, the nautical striped blazer is a must-have for every woman's summer wardrobe.  It's extremely versatile - you can dress it up or down and wear it with all-white or bold colors like Heather's done.  Great job, Heather!  :o)
